A Christmas Offering.

 There are homes where the circle of family love

Hath been broken by death during slow changing years;

Where visions of bliss only break from above,

              And "  the wine-cup is mingled with sorrowing tears. "

Yet Christmas comes there as a mentor to tell

And urge the fond hope of a meeting in heaven,

Where ne 'er shall be uttered the lonely farewell,

Where the bonds of affection can never be riven.

Lines from  'The Bard of Balnavoran'  by Larry Ward

A Very Happy and Peaceful Christmas to all Parishioners
